If the donor is a smoker, the donation requires them to avoid smoking on the day of donation and 3 hours after donation. |

The donor should not have fever on the time of donation. |

Make sure the donor has had a good meal before donation. |

Please verify if the donor is under any medication for Malaria, Jaundice, etc. |

Please ask if the donor has not had any tooth extraction in the past 2 weeks. |

If the donor is a female, please verify if she is not pregnant. |

The donor should not have had any immunization at least one month before. |

Finally, accept blood from the donor only after doctor's approval. |
